2024 Award Recipient

Dr. Nicole Cooke, Augusta Baker Endowed Chair at the University of South Carolina, has been awarded the 2024 Joseph W. Lippincott Award by the American Library Association for her distinguished service in librarianship. Cooke is recognized for her work in promoting cultural competence among librarians and increasing diversity in the Library and Information Science field, especially among BIPOC communities.
