Music Must Go On is a digital archive, exhibition, and collection created to honor the life and enduring impact of Madame Mary Cardwell Dawson, a renowned Black impresario of the Pittsburgh Opera.

Through a variety of mediums, this project examines the life, legacy, and relationships of Madame Dawson, as well as her peers and students, within the realms of opera, history, and research.
