From August 19 through August 23, 2025, Greensboro Project Space will present This Black Feeling, a solo exhibition by artist Zaire Miles-MoultriE. Bringing together completed works, ongoing projects, and exploratory sketches, the exhibition offers a rare opportunity to witness the artist’s evolving practice firsthand.
Miles-MoultriE reframes Blackness not as emptiness or absence, but as a presence alive with depth, emotion, and possibility. His imagery draws from Southern heritage, biblical iconography, antique photographs of Black figures, and motifs of flora and fauna to create layered, surreal narratives. By blending analog and digital collage, lithography, and printmaking, the artist situates his practice within both tradition and innovation.
The works in This Black Feeling unfold like portals into a space where history and imagination meet. They encourage viewers to see Blackness as a living archive and a generative force, rich with meaning and expansive potential.
