Attendees are invited to watch the film and participate in a rigorous discussion about its commentary on the state of Black America, Black consciousness, and the challenges facing Black individuals everywhere. Local BAP members will share insights on critically consuming media and efforts to develop a collective Black consciousness through various perspectives.
The event will be held on June 7 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM) at Spacy Microcinema, located at 1400 S. Polk St., Dallas, Texas.
About The Film:
They Cloned Tyrone is a 2023 sci-fi action comedy starring Jamie Foxx, alongside John Boyega and Teyonah Parris. The film follows a drug dealer, a pimp, and a sex worker as they uncover a sinister government plot in their neighborhood.
