
African American Women Workshop Series

HopeWorks’ Women’s Circle Program is excited to host a seven-session workshop series via Zoom to explore imbalances of power and the spirit of revolution through poetry, music, visual arts, literature, theatre, history, ethnography, and philosophy.
The sessions will be interactive, with guest speakers, and artists. Topics will include: Colorism, Womanhood, Health & Health Disparities, Sexuality & Gender, Black Women Activists – Then & Now, and Art We Something!
Begins Saturday, August 1, 2020.
Must be able to attend all sessions.
Please Note: You will need to have access to a laptop, computer, or tablet to participate. There will be plenty of planned breaks and activities during each session.
Registration Deadline: July 27, 2020
This free program is open to the general public, ages 18+. Participants will receive the Zoom meeting information by email two days before the event.
