As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we at ART | library deco would like to honor the remarkable Black artists who passed away during this month. In March 2025, we lost several notable African American artists, including visual artist Faith Ringgold, photographer Nona Faustine, R&B singer Angie Stone, jazz vibraphonist Roy Ayers, and D’Wayne Wiggins, a founding member of the R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!. We encourage you to explore the captivating content shared earlier this month, as well as the enriching material celebrated during Black History Month. Additionally, check out our newly revamped REPOSITORY, where you can find a wealth of African American history, exhibits, and art. Learn more about our CAMPAIGN 2013 and invest and support our independent library. Get ready for a creative journey this April as we kick off National Poetry Month! Exciting artistic and literary content awaits—stay tuned for inspiration that will ignite your imagination!
